Parent and child foster carers share their own parenting experiences with someone who really needs that support. You will perhaps support a pregnant person, or it may be a parent with a baby or small child.  As a parent and child foster carer you will help them build the skills they need, both personally and for their child. Parent and child arrangements are usually short-term. You will be required to supervise and work with the professional team around the parent to feed into a parenting assessment.
